WHAT IS THE EXOCAGE?

The EXOCAGE is a full-body, modular camera cage system made by videomakers for videomakers. A structural frame that surrounds the camera, giving it rigidity, protection, and mounting points.

It is made of a 3D printed, carbon fiber reinforced engineering grade material. It integrates mechanical features (like NATO rails, cheese plates, rod mounts ecc) with electronic modules (via the EXOCORE for power distribution and signal conversion).

The design is modular, so users can add or remove components (cheese plates, EXOGRIP, XLR adapter, EXOCORE) depending on the shooting setup. It’s built to keep cable routing clean, improve ergonomics, and allow mounting of professional accessories.

The EXOCAGE redefines what a camera cage can be, a full-body modular system for creators who demand more.

WHAT IS THE EXOCORE?

The EXOCORE is the electronics module of the EXOCAGE system.
It’s basically a power and signal hub that houses:

V-Mount plate from ZGCINE
D-Tap from ZGCINE
Black Magic Design HDMI to SDI Micro Converter (included with the COMPLETE Version)

Structurally, it’s a rear-mounted module that locks onto the EXOCAGE, but it can also be detached and used as a standalone unit. With its integrated 15mm rod clamp, it can slide onto any standard rig, making it both a modular power system and a signal management unit.

The EXOCORE, used standalone, is a universal power and signal hub for any camera.
